Reminder that picture day is tomorrow for grades 7-11!
ELEMENTARY OPEN HOUSE 🍎✏️
The Colfax Elementary School Open House will be scheduled throughout the day on Monday, August 21st, 2023, for students in Grades JK-6.
School will not be in session. This allows students and parents an opportunity prior to the beginning of the school year to meet their classroom teacher. Teachers will send home a letter introducing themselves for placement in August. A note on how parents can schedule the “Meet and Greet” conference through our Skyward portal similar to parent/teacher conferences will be enclosed. These times will be scheduled by parents individually throughout the day.
If you have not scheduled time by Thursday, August 17th, your child’s teacher will contact you on August 17 or 18 to find a mutually agreed time that works for the “Meet and Greet” meeting.
The Elementary Office will be open to pay various fees; i.e. lunch money, physical education uniform/locker fees, etc. Please take this opportunity to ask for assistance in setting up an account through e-Funds for Schools, so that you will have the capability to make payments to your child’s lunch account on-line. Holly Berge, Lunch Services Secretary, will be available to help assist with the process and answer any questions you may have.
